Three friends, one-bedroom apartment
Which Apartment Suits Three Friends in Bakirkoy?
If you are arriving as three friends, the most practical choice is the one-bedroom apartment (1+1): it sleeps 2–3, with a separate bedroom, living room, kitchen and private bathroom. The three of you share one apartment in Bakırköy (Bakirkoy), split the cost three ways and still have your own corner.
Below we explain the layout that makes three people comfortable in a one-bedroom apartment (1+1), ideas for sharing a budget and what to know when you book.
Why a one-bedroom apartment (1+1)?
| Feature | One-bedroom apartment (1+1) | What it gives three people |
|---|---|---|
| Capacity | 2–3 people | All three of you in one apartment |
| Separate bedroom | Yes | Early sleepers rest while the others talk in the living room |
| Living room | Yes | A shared space for evening plans, conversation and down time |
| Kitchen | Yes | Breakfast and dinner together, with costs split three ways |
| Private bathroom | Yes | The morning queue is easy to plan the night before |
The apartment has air conditioning and free Wi-Fi; the building has a lift and security cameras. You can ask us on WhatsApp about sleeping arrangements when you book. Apartment details are on the apartments page.
For those who want more personal space
If your group includes a couple and a friend, or you work different hours, it may also be possible to add a studio apartment (1+0) next to the one-bedroom apartment (1+1), depending on availability. We will share the current rate for both options side by side on WhatsApp so you can compare and decide. For friends who go out together and sleep at the same time, a single one-bedroom apartment (1+1) is usually enough.
Rules for comfortable sharing
Three people sharing one apartment comes down to a few simple agreements:
- Bathroom order: if all three of you get ready at the same time in the morning, set the order the night before. With 24/7 hot water, an evening shower eases the morning queue.
- Sharing space: on the first evening, talk about who will use the bedroom and the living room, and how.
- Suitcases: keeping bags in one corner frees up room to move. The building has a lift, so taking suitcases to your floor is easy.
- Charging: a multi-plug charger saves you from taking turns charging phones.
- Air conditioning: agree on one temperature setting from the start.
Sharing a budget with the kitchen
When three people share one apartment, the accommodation cost is split three ways; the kitchen extends that advantage to food and drink.
- Do your first shop together; the market street and Capacity shopping mall, 9 minutes away, are within walking distance.
- Make breakfast together in the apartment and eat lunch out while you are exploring.
- Set up a small kitty for shared expenses from the start; the bill is clear at the end of the day.

What three guests need to know when booking
- Number of guests: just send your dates and tell us there are three of you; we will share the current rate.
- ID: in Türkiye, accommodation providers are legally required to register every guest's identity details. Each of you needs a passport at check-in; Turkish citizens may also use their T.C. ID card.

If you arrive at different times
Three friends often arrive at different times and by different routes. If one comes by bus and the others another way, send us each person's estimated arrival time separately. Check-in is from 14:00; if one of you will arrive late at night, tell us in advance and we will plan the arrival together. Anyone coming by bus can follow the M1A directions in our guide to getting from the bus terminal to Bakırköy. Those arriving by Marmaray walk 8 minutes from Bakırköy station to the apartment.
