Studio apartment or guesthouse in Bakirkoy: what fits?

If you will spend most of the day out and want to protect your budget, a studio apartment on a guesthouse budget is usually a well-balanced choice: it adds your own kitchen and bathroom to the simplicity of a plain room. The bed, seating and kitchen are in one room; you can make your own breakfast and dinner and unwind at the end of the day as if you were at home.

Which one, when?

• A one or two-night business trip or exam: Studio apartment (1+0). Everything you need to get ready and rest is in one room.
• A few days of city sightseeing as a couple: Studio apartment (1+0); if you want more space, the One-bedroom apartment (1+1).
• Three friends: the One-bedroom apartment (1+1), which sleeps 2–3. Details in our guide for three friends.
• A few weeks of work: a kitchen and a living area make the difference on a long stay; the Studio apartment (1+0) or the One-bedroom apartment (1+1), depending on your group.

The effect on your budget: kitchen and location

The nightly rate is only one item in a stay. Eating every meal out and taking a taxi every day quickly grow the total. With your own kitchen you make breakfast and dinner in the flat; staying within walking distance of the rail network keeps taxi costs to a minimum. When you compare places, always ask for the full address and the walking time to the nearest station.

Two example situations

How booking works

Once you have chosen, the process is short. Call us, or write on WhatsApp where you can message us in English; just tell us your dates and how many people are coming. We give you the flat that suits you and the current price in the same conversation and confirm your booking by written message. For trade fairs, public holidays and the summer season we suggest asking early.
